Albert Waalkens lecturer in Environmental Engineering Conference

Albert Waalkens, Next Air Biotreat Scientist in Charge in Pure Air Solutions (The Netherlands), gave a lecture on Biotechniques for Air Pollution Control on the V Conference on Environmental Engineering (Spain). This Conference was organized by the University of València and the Polytechnical University of Valencia as complementary activity in the Master’s degree on Environmental Engineering. Albert Waalkens explained the state of the art and the experience of Pure Air Solutions in biological air treatment for control of industrial odour, industrial solvent emissions and H2S removal in wastewater treatment plants. The conference gave the opportunity to explain the potentiality of the R&D projects funded by the European Commission through the Marie Curie Actions to face the new challenges in this field.
